Spring time bunny

This is my little Spring themed bunny isn't she cute swaddled in her rose designed blankie? even a lady bird has come down to investigate!




I'm still full of this rotten chest infection, we'll see how it plays out. I went to the docs yesterday and the receptionist laughed at me cause my voice sounds like its cracking. Least she got some fun out of it.

Other than that I'm crocheting away when I can concentrate enough, looking after the animals takes longer when your under the weather!

Seahorse plush needle felted

The horrid weather continues and I'm full of a bloody headcold! I hate being sick, I'm hardly sick like this. Which is a blessing I know but its just frustrating when it happens. My poor other half is getting it too we all know how men are when they get sick! lol anyways this is my latest a needle felted sea horse plush. Available in my Etsy shop along with the Macaw and squirrel.



I love his bright red colors, I used a really pretty blush rose color on his belly and a lime green for accent. I used merino wool roving of course which is my favorite.

I'm also happy with how the pics came out I think I'm finally getting decent at taking these photos. About time haha. What do you all think?? Have a great weekend.

Macaw needle felted

oh my gosh what horrid weather we've had the last two days. I've been recovering from my procedure still some complications nothing too bad however. In that time I've been crocheting some and needle felting some. Here's what I've needle felted.

Grey squirrel needle felted

see told you I haven't forgotten my first love needle felting. I made this little squirrel last night in front of the telly. I've been watching sensing murder lately and its really good. Anyways this is little squirrel I can never think is grey, gray or grey? I spell it gray.

I'm thinking of learning how to make pdf patterns I really think some cute needle felting patterns would be interesting to try that way then I don't need to worry about printing. Hope you all have a great Wednesday.

amigurumi crochet cake

I am obsessed with crochet it would seem! I havne't forgotten my first love needle felting though. This however is a amigurumi styled birthday cake I created last night. I did have trouble with the candle lol the first one I made was too big so I shortened it and sewed it in a little. I think its turned out really cute. I love ami!


cake is actually how I got my nickname in real life which is piggles. This third pick reflects how I react to desert haha I eye it off and go gnom gnom gnom gnom until its all gone. My other halfs mum nicknamed me piggle as I was always the first to finish the desert.

Crochet along cowl

Here is my finished cowl for the crochet a long. It does have a few mistakes lol I kinda went wider again I dunno why must have added some stiches but I still like it. The different colors seem to hide most of the mistakes I think ^_^ excuse me for looking so pale. Yesterday I had a reaction to something and my whole face went red. It's still a little red, tight and kinda weird feeling but its a lot better I think I had a delayed reaction to some of the drugs from when I was in hospital Friday. But otherwise this is the cowl lol I digress.
It's not as long as what was intended.


I brought the wool from Kmart of all places lol its an acrylic yarn and was a 250gram ball. The colorway was called Brights.
