needle felted Peter Rabbit

This is a needle felted Peter Rabbit I'm thinking of entering him in the Felt alive contest. I'm just doubting myself a little. If anyone can help with feedback I'd love to hear thoughts and opinions on this guy. He's approx thirteen inches. And solid wool roving. I love how the photos turned out much better, I used white fleece as the background and an overcast day. Happy Saturday

more finds

Hi all its me again on this blustery cold Friday. I've got some good finds first off is this fab cardi purchased from Salvo's store in Boronia. I brought it awhile ago but haven't worn it but am seeing my grandmother on Tuesday night for dinner with my other half so I dug it out and thought I'd show it off here. I paid $5 for it, there was two of them I got this one and the one in black.

I got these today from Salvos in Boronia as well for Tuesday night this really cute necklace will match nicely. I'm wearing a brown top under the cardi on Tuesday night have to look snazzy for grandma.

I brought this wallet because my other one I brought from another opshop the pockets didn't fit the cards and was useless in trying to get the cards out again.

I paid $3 for it I seem to have a thing for red at the moment and pink This was a great find last but not least is a dooner cover I brought from the Angliss opshop in Ferntree gully for $2! a queen sized cover there was nothing wrong with it and I loved the cottage feel anyways hope you liked my finds

needle felted reindeer and parakeet

This budgie/parakeet is a sold item recently that I custom changed to be a yellow faced budgie. So yay for getting a couple of sales. This next one is a reindeer I started last night and finished today whilst visiting the mother in law.

Had a lovely day today only had a couple of errands such as waiting for other halfs appointment to finish and me a blood test. We went to the library after havne't been in years. I borrowed two books on embroidery and one on crochet can't wait to get started. Happy Wednesday

Budgie Boy

I woke up to buckets of rain today and a sale on etsy! my 8th sale is this little budgie or parakeet. I'm making a custom for a lovely girl who sadly lost her pet budgie. Today I have an appointment with a psychiatrist (sp) I struggle with bipolar 2 disorder and major depression. I'm feeling very anxious so the needle felting will keep me nice and occupied. I'm about to go and get ready for the appointment now. Even thoughb I love rain I hate having to be in the car when its raining it just makes getting there so stressful. At least for my other half it does as he is the driver. Happy Thursday

Rooibos the needlefelted tea loving rat

This is a character rat needle felted last night I named hin Rooibos for his love of teas. Though funnily I didn't picture him with some of my rooibos tea. But he stole these for his photoshoot. Happy Monday

Hi all and happy Friday to you yes the weekend is near any plans? I brought some lovely wool from Saras texured crafts on Etsy here are some highlights alpaca and merino and some other blends I've purchased all are very reasonably priced and great quantities perfect for needle felting. These are my latest two The rabbit is a custom order for my friend Diana over on Etsy I hope she likes him and the poodle was made just for fun. Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Snugs needlefelted rabbit

This is Snugs a cute little bunny rabbit in lilac and pink I made her today. She has wire inside her and can move. I'm gonna make more. Snugs is available in my etsy store. Perfect to collect. Today I made vegetable soup, went on a walk in the fantastic winter sunshine that we had today. Hung out two loads of washing and I feel good. A long time since I've felt this good. Happy Monday
