needle felted troll doll child

This is Tilly the troll doll child! isn't she cool? I finished her this morning after starting her last night. She can be posed gently and she has a very cheeky smile, its actually the first time in a doll that I've created teeth for its smile. She is one of my bigger projects but I'm rather happy with how she's come out, my other half thinks she's ugly but trolls are kind of meant to be ulgy aren't they not? but I still like the character in her.

show buns!

Finally finished entries
this is the rabbit trio I thought it needed more and was wondering how to make it a singular entry instead of three rabbits so I made it a playscape I thought it came out rather well.

sealed with a kiss lace envelopes

I've come up with a cute little ornament today that I'm very excited about
they are so simple to do! I used some lace I had left over and am calling these
sealed with a kiss love envelopes. I adorned it with little gold wings, a felted
string, and a little whimsy flower as its button.

a bookmark

wow an actual sewing project! lol and something drawn too wewt
this is a little bookmark I created shabby chic in style, using black felt, ribbon and maroon colored scraps of material. I hand drew the whistling hunchback hotel porter in ink and pencil. I think it came out rather well. I used my sewing machine to crazy stitch it alltogether.

some better shots of the finished horse!

took some better shots of the horse this morning I filled out his stomach a little more last night and I think he's finally finished so I can enter him in the craft show lol he's about six to seven inches tall.

Jinx the possum

This is a needle felted possum one of my projects for the show I'm entering, isn't he cute? I actually love possums even though they are a pest species here in Australia. So hopefully as he's a pest species he wont jinx me in the show hence why I've called him Jinx!

Yin Yang egg

http://rachelcgarcia.blogspot.com/2011/02/needle-felted-easter-egg-tutorial-part_19.html I'm a follower of this blog and was reading their tutorial even though its simple its so nice just seeing what others do. I came up with this yinyabg egg in orange! lol I know the photos are dim but least you can see it, I took it at my desk without added lighting. But excuse the bad photo! lol I still think it looks good in orange.

finished needle felted horse for craft show

This is the finished needle felted horse I started a little while ago, I finally
added his white socks and firmed him up nicely. I'm entering him along with a couple of other projects in the Art and craft show that I hope to show to you soon. I am rather proud of this horse as I think I'm getting more realistic with my animals that I'm doing. Although these shots turned out rather odd even though the light was good lol it looks like he has no stomach but he does! haha

water water everywhere

Why have I taken pictures of our aviary and sky? well its suddenly pouring and it looks as if we're in for a night of it! I feel sorry for our Kakariki's and cockateils you'll see why next.

see where the green shade cloth is? well that's where the birds live! that downpipe spurting water looks fit to burst so we really hope it doesn't!

this is water on our front steps/pathway

we just looked up the weather for tonight and it looks like we're in for a storm so it probably means my fiancee wont be taking me to sewing class tonight a he doesn't like driving in rain! I don't blame him.

my pay it forward gift is here

I was lucky enough to be one of the three receivers from Twiglets Sisters crafty creations pass it forward participants. This is the lovely gift she had sent me I was starting to wonder if it would ever arrive as it took two and a bit weeks to get here! mind you I do live in Australia so it is a long journey for the post!

of course some of my own felties wanted to join in on the fun
of checking out the lovely hand made card and brooch

thank you so much for this sweet gift! I can't wait to send off my gifts to my participant and two other real life friends.
