My new womens support group

I realize this is rather off topic for me however I have started a yahoo group hoping to start a supportive environment to share stories, information, advice and so on for women who suffer menstral cycle issues and problems relating to it. I've called it women 2gether.

http://au.groups.yahoo.com/group/women2gether is the link for those that wish to spread the word or join. It's going to be a friendly and respective haven for women to vent frustrations, and find solace in the fact they are not alone.

I suffer prolonged, heavy, excruciating periods along with migraines and other symptoms that is undiagnosed at the moment. I hope to see you soon if you are interested at all.

needle felted yorkie dog

hello all this is my latest lovely needle felted dog, a needle felted yorkie! she's five way jointed. It's the first kind I've done like that and I'm really happy with how she's come out. She has a threaded nose, needle felted eyes. She's quite life like I think and looks adorable in the tea cup I found. I don't normally do princess looking things but I'm really happy with her. She's available in my Etsy store.

latest needle felted mermaid cute

I created this little mermaid and shell accessory last night. I explored a local park/nature walk to take her photos and think they turned out quite well. I like how the shell looks with her. She is not my first mermaid I have attempted but I do like this one better. I adorned her with a hair accessory. She is available in my etsy store. Castle in the sky

I'm dabbling in some wet felting lately and this is my latest piece. I have used some needle felting and embroidery as well. I call it Castle in the sky. I rather like the calmness of the castle colors and the clouds around it. It's about five or six inches long and about five wide... I rather like how its come out. I don't dabble in wet felting often but it is fun to do small projects like this.

Wintery bird

Nature right outside our door, this was taken from our back door. It's such a wintery day today that even the white cockatoo is blending in! they must be feeling the cold and hunger. There were three hanging about but I don't think they liked the camera noises but I'm glad I got this one as it really shows how wintery it is.

There is meant to be snow in the hills near us... not surprising we can feel the ice in the air. My hands are that cold as I type this I'll have to find my mittens.

wedding bear family

Hi everyone, gosh what a horrid day we're having, this bad weather is continuing all week, and to make myself sound old and grumpy we're getting cold wind with chills that seems and feels like ice is in the air even though we don't get snow where we are.

But this is my latest project, a gift I've made for a girlfriend of mine, she is getting married in 22 days actually eloping as she and her fiancee can't stand the family drama lol. They are running away for a romantic wedding of their own. She is actually 6 months pregnant so I joked that its a shotgun wedding.

But here is a little bear wedding family. I needle felted over the weekend. The little pink bear is the baby of this family as my friend knows the sex of the baby which is obviously a girl to be. I'm so excited for my friend ^^ we're actually catching up tomorrow afternoon for a girlie catch up of our own and I'll present her with this gift then.Don't forget about my give away which is running for the month of July. my first official give away announcement

well I was meant to announce this a few days ago but I got side tracked with things at home but I'm doing it now! I'm announcing my first give away. Out of this photo the winner will get three needle felted items. I'll be drawing them out of a bag so I wont know what they get until that time.
