my latest that I finished today is a little green frog, after the Charming Frog Prince I wanted to try a more realistic frog though he still came out more cutesy haha but anyways he's only small as well. I used a merino cross wool which is so much fun to ues i this color. This little pig went to market! what do you think he brought home? lol I made this pig out of some merino cross wool roving that my felting friend Kaz gave me as a gift this week. So here is little pig, he's about an inch and a bit long and is firmly felted and Kaz's wool is lovely to needle felt with.

needle felted fantasy tree with squirrel and more

This is a tree sculpture that I've been working on, I rather like how its come out. He is really large. He's felted over craft wire so each branch can be posed in a different way. It comes complete with a gray squirrel, owl and a secret nest with two little eggs in it. His needle felted face gives the tree character. I seem to be getting larger and larger with my felting projects of late, annoyingly I've had to rest as I've hurt my elbow, yesterday I pulled its joint somewhat and its really hurts to bend. I was helping my other half at the time with an aviary we are building. But I'm sure with rest and care I'll be back felting in no time. I've listed this tree on my esty shop.

Plush toy style barn owl and magic dragon needle felted

These are my very latest a needle felted Barn owl and magic dragon baby! baby I had finished on Friday but hadn't taken photos. Barn owl I'd started this morning and finished this morning as I was excited about him.

Barn owl has been felted over craft wire so his toes and legs are moveable and he stands on his own. He's about six inches tall. I used white corriedale wool and natural uncarded sheeps wool and merino wool roving for his detailing. The sheeps wool I washed myself.








Baby dragon
he's made from lovely handdyed merino wool roving, he can stand by himself thanks to his tail. He is about four inches long and his arms and legs can move. Both are avalable on my etsy shop.

wow today has been a very creative day I've finished three projects all in all, the first one took the longest. Over four days off and on which is relatively long for me lol.

He's a poseable rabbit, felted over craft wire and he's so soft to touch with the alpaca blended wool I'd used as it had mohair and merino roving in it also.

The third project is this cute little dandylion I needle felted, I also crafted this over wire so its moveable. I think its rather cute, I made is sit in a little needle felted pot. I made this for a challenge I'm in with the needle felting team on Etsy, same with the sheep in the previous post. That was my second project which I'd finished today.

sheep with blue bird needle felted plush style pincushion

This is a waldorf styled sheep with his blue bird friend sitting happily on her sheepies head. I made the grass using kid mohair which has been hand dyed, the sheep also uses natural sheeps locks which I washed and cleaned myself. Can be used as a pin cushion as the lanolin will help keep pins to stay sharp and rust free. Otherwise it would make a cute addition to any needle felters collection. I think it would go nicely on someones nature table or in a childs room even. It is available in my etsy shop.
