I've always loved birds and Eagles are a breed I've always admired, so I needle felted one. I think he came out quite well and the photos make me happy cause I can see I'm getting better. I used an interesting wool that I've never used before and its quite decent to work with. Welsh mountain sheep wool roving, it seems longer in staple so it felts similar to alpaca but without that greasy feel alpaca seems to have or what I've found anyways. Its a lovely natural color too being undyed, the brown I used and other colors are merino.
